blower not working

was wondering if anyone knew what could be the problem with my hearter blower. numbers 1-4 stopped working a while back and only number five has been working. now however, number five is no longer working either. turn the knob and nothing happens. do you think it is the blower res. switch or the ignition switch harness. we are going to try and do this on our own to save us a big repair bill from the shop.

Re: blower not working

I had the same problem on my 97 gtp. I had to change out the blower motor and resister switch. It was fairly cheap and not that hard to do.

Sounds like you are now having problems with both. When the blower resistor goes,it then puts a strain from the increased voltage on the contacts inside the ignition harness, which in turn causes it to go bad.here is a link to help you with both.
