Mirror w/ temp question

Last spring I replaced my stock mirror in my 02 Silverado with a compas / temp mirror. The harness was tucked up into the headliner and I instantly had the compass and the electrochromatic mirror. I soon realised I didnt have the temperature sensor. I purchased the sensor, hoping the harness for that was also tucked away, just waiting for me. If it is, I cant find it. I do know where the sensor is supposed to mount. I also know that pins #6 and #7 in the mirror are for the temp. So my question is, where do the wires from pins #6 and #7 go? If I knew where they terminated I could continue them to the sensor and be golden. Does anyone have the plug that snaps into the temp sensor, or do I need to get creative with soldering wires onto the 2 pins and make my own plug?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Tim
