chip
ok, so im gettin a chip, but not a 30 dollar pice of shit one. i have a z6 in my crx with teh stock pm6 ecu. do i buy a chip for the car or ecu? im guessin ecu

I'd seriousley reccomend against a "chip". Most crap like the chips or those piggy back devices on ebay only gain maybe 1 or 2 hp. At the wheels if that. Plus the idea behind like 95% of them are "add more fuel = more power" so basically is a couple horseys worth the gas mileage.
The best mod for you would be a pg7 ecu from a 1st gen integra, they have agressive fuel maps and better layouts, and still get consistant gas mileage. You can feel a difference going from a pm6-which i know firsthand. If you interested in the pg7, i have an extra one for 50 shipped...... |
