need some help(gas problem)

hi, i need some help. My gas gauge says that I need gas( and i do cause i filled up like a week ago), but everytime i go to fill up my gas tank spits out the gas. Do u guys have any suggestions to what i can do? pls helppppp

You mean it spits it out through the whole you pump it in right? If so, just ease up on the trigger when you know it's getting full.
