56 Ford Pickup

[Midnight Racer]

This was one of the worst models I built.There were a lot of fitment problems and even I didn't feel like waisting time on painting it, which is why I didn't.There are low spots on the fenders, the exhaust was a pain, the instruction's don't help much.I did mofiy it a little before the fitment problems.Some of the mods I did where a big Block Ford engine,different rims, aprk plug wires, and the wood bed.Overall I would not build this kit again.The pics are thumbnails, click on them for a bigger picture.

I think this model looks cool which is a shame you never painted ot.
Store it away in a box and when you feel like painting it give it ago!

It's by Revell.My kit was the 1995 version but they rerelesed this kit as an Ed Roth pickup.The kit numer is 4178, and here is a pic.

I agree with primera man, put it away and restore it at a later date!! Cool truck!!! Did you open the doors? Or did the kit come like that!!

It came like that.It's a level 3 kit.
