I just purchased a 1985 prelude 1.8L. I was told the A/c didn't work.
I spent some time going over the car after my purchase and found there is no belt on the AC. I can see where it goes. The PROBLEM! The bolt used to adjust the tension when the belt is in place is missing. Even if belt was there there is no way to it on because the comprssor an clutch just pivot back and forth. I can't find anyone who can tell me what kind of bolt goes in there. Can anyone give me a place to look or tell me what bolt to get? |

Re: AC Belt tension bolt
http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com
they have it all - including every bolt... it will ask you to select which car you have and year - then it will ask for the type of part - click the one that says A/C bracket or whatever... should be something like that... but it is in there - and they have good prices.
