Memory seat

Anyone know how to setup memory seat to work with each key?

I was told that whenever I lock my car with a key, the car will remember all setup, i.e, seat, power mirror.... to that key. But I found out that the car only remember all setup of previous locking, i.e:
- step 1: use key1 locks the car with memory seat 1
- step 2: use key2 locks the car with memory seat 2
- step 3: use key1 open the car, I expect the car seat should be in memory seat 1 but it was in memory seat 2.

Any idea????

Thanks

Re: Memory seat

<scratches head> yep, sounds like normal BMW operation...lol. Have your dealer reinitialize the power seat and locking system. That might clear the problem.

Re: Memory seat

Yah, let me know. On my X3 I've had to have the power windows and the panorama roof reinitialized because they were acting up, it fixed the problem instantly.
