Better Tailgate handle for 03 Ranger?

I went to open my tailgate the other day, and the cheap plastic handle broke. Its still under warranty so I could probly take it to the Ford place and get a new one, thing is I want a heavy duty handle that won't break again. I was wondering if the medal tailgate handles found on earlier ford rangers would fit? If not, does anybody know a website that I can find a tailgate handle?

Thanks.

When you change your oil make it a point to spray some WD40 on the latches on both ends of the tailgate and work the handle a few times. Cheap and easy fix so you don't have to replace handle. Yes the plastic handles stinks.
