Yes I am sure.(technically 6 3/4) I put my Rockford seperates in about two months ago that I orderd from crutchfield. Circuit City tried to tell me that they were 5 1/4 and I told him he was wrong. You can put 5 1/4 in with an adapter plate, buy why not get the bigger ones? Go to www.crutchfield.com and put in Aurora and they will show you all the speakers that fit.

I just had my speakers replaced and they were 6.5.
I found different sizes depending on which program I used. The place I had them installed (Ovation) siad they were 5.25, but when they took them out, they were 6.5. |

Re: door speakers, what size????
I guess what people are tryin to say is, that the original size for the Classic Aurora is 6 3/4, but you can fit in there the 6 1/2's.
I have the 6 3/4 since those don't require any type of kit. Peace. |

well guys, i took the doors apart today, and installed some pioneer 5 1/4 3 way speakers. i must have a lower model or something, because i had the 5 1/4 in the door, with the inserts already. i already had the pioneers so this made me very happy. looks like you could do both, but like i said, i already had the pioneer speakers. thanks for the help.
