upgrade barina-advice wanted

I have a '93'model barina, I want to replace the existing engine with something that has a lot more power, up to or beyong 100kw if possible, does anyone know what sort of engine will fit and will a turbo go with it or any good advice is gladly welcome. much appreciated to anyone that replies.

Maybe a opel 1.8 litre will fit. These things Hammer! I have just bought a 2002 SRI 1.8. It now pushes 96kw with an exhaust and filter change.

LOL! i got some advice for people who want to do up barinas...DONT!

i guess i cant really talk owning a corona and all, but if you want power buy something other than a aussie version of a rice cooker

More to the point is this the rebadged Opel Corsa or Suzuki Swift.

If the latter then what other, but a transplant from the legendary Swift GTi

Otherwise an Opel 1.6 from the GSi or the MY2002 SRi's 1.8
