Unhappy High Beams Shut off while driving

Does anyone know why my 2002 Century High Beams shut off while driving at night? If you click back to the low beams, the low beams work and after a few minutes you can go back to the high beams. But they will shut off again. I left them on in the driveway for a few hours and it didn't happen though.

Help please . . . .

Oh of course the dealer couldn't find anything wrong.

Re: High Beams Shut off while driving

Check the large connector on top side of the steering column. It is under the dash. The small aluminum spade connector is way too small and burs out. You will need to bypass this plug since replacement is difficult and cost prohibitive. Good Luck.
