97 gsx question???

I have a question out there for all you guys. Can crankwalk happen at anytime for ex.the amount of miles on the car or miles has nothing to do with it and will CW happen at anytime. I test drove a gsx and no symtoms occured at the time. The clutch didn't stick nor around left turns, the car has 54,000 on it, will CW slowly make it's journey towards any damage. Should i be worried about this? And i checked for prices to fix CW and i can't find anything. Let me know what ii costs to fix this problem. And last thing, was it 97 that had the most cases about CW. Thanks alot.

Re: 97 motor defect

94-99 all had the same engine. The problem he was probably referring to is crankwalk. do a google search for "DSM Crankwalk" there's probably a couple hundred pages on the subject.
