Blower motor resister. Very common on Grand AM and Grand Prix. i found a website that offers OEM GM online catalogs 24-7. had the parts shipped to my home cheaper than buying from my local dealer. www.gm-car-parts.com

The blower motor resistor is the problem for sure. The resistor is located next to the fan usually under the dash. It is not hard to change just hard to get to. You sometimes need to remove the fan to get the resistor out. As far as where to purchase it costs between $30 and $40 from a dealer and you can pick it up locally. Good Luck!

before you spend alot of money look for a vacum leak the gray or black hose behind the driver side headlight will be shaffed and leaking, tough to see you might have to move the battery, cut the bad piece out and splice with washer hose
