I got my 91 CRX with 180k pretty good exterior, lowered, exhaust, bad tires and grinding tranny for $1100. You will probably be able to find something better. Look on ebay.

Re: 900 dollar rex

here the thing you dont know if this motor is trashed or not this guy doesnt know either so I would say $600 max if your heart says its good and $400 if your not sure and I think cause you posted here your not sure. You dont have to prove to us its worth it you have to believe its worht it.

What I would look aty the closest is the condition of the rear quarters and the roof. primer over existing rust wont keep it from spreading. Other panels can be replaced in time. Still wouldnt pay more than 500-600.

Re: 900 dollar rex

look at it this way, expect to run into problems, crx's are pretty old as it is, and the way ur describing the condition of this rex, looks like your going to be running in to more than a few probs, and if you dont have the money to fix it on the spot, then well its going to suck, but hey if you got money and time to spend on it, and are just buying it as a project car then go for it. Good luck
