a/c cycling, heater control is possessed
the control motor located somewhere below the steering wheel, under the dash is continually adjusting itself, as if there were an input at the switch. this happens when the heater is turned off, or when it is being used. i can hear its little motor cycling. i guess the motor operates a damper, or some directional device/ mixer. while under the hood the other day, i also noticed that this is affecting the ac compressor. it comes on and off by itself. i tried to get it excorcised without success. any ideas?
