4seed to a 5 speed

hey guys a got a question, my dad bought us a honda civic hatchback an 89, and it said it was a 5spd, but come to find out it was an STD with the 4spd, and i wanted to know, is there anyway to convert it to a 5 spd and how hard and how much would it cost if possible? thanks alot for whoever replys

i know around my area theirs a place called harrys u pull it...u can go there and pull a 5 speed tranny off a civic for like 40$...other than that i usually see them from 1-200$ and im not sure of installation prices

It bolts right in. Get an SI tranny if you can get ahold of one.
