accident question

Ok I got into an accident, some lady rear ended me when I was getting out of a plaza, the popo said that he can't do crap and refused to give my dad his info and said we have to get out of this ourselfs talking to each others insurance companies. Anyways I was with my dad in his car under his insurance but I was driving. Can they do anything about that, and what should I say/ not say if we go to court or to the insurance agent? Any help would be appriciated.

Re: accident question

you can get the person's name and insurance company by paying for the police report from the department, you will need your case #.

Re: accident question

Is your state a no-fault insurance state?

Re: accident question

well its her fault she smacked in the back when i was getting on a normal road, the popo said that her insurance must pay my dad. And they will, the person supposed to come check out the damage. The woman asked me if she did all that, if it wasn't damaged before, sounded kind of funny cause i felt it pretty hard, sounded like an airbag exploded.
