blinkers

2000 Cherokee, Blinkers wont automatically turn off when steering is turned. I s that the relay? Thanks

Hi Ark,
I'm no expert on this, but I think there is a mechanical catch in your steering column that is supposed to disengage the blinker switch when you turn the wheel back. It's pretty easy to pull off the cover over the ignition and blinker switches, why don't you pull that off and see what you can find. Could be something worked loose and needs tightened, could be the catch is broke. Either way, your not going to hurt it by looking around in there a bit!

Had to replace the Blinker switch. Just so You all know in the future.
