So i went to the track :)

traction was an issue at first spun the tires badly on the 1st run. 13.3@111mph

2nd run: 13.0@111mph
3rd run: 12.92@111mph

even on the third run i spun but just not as bad....street tires f'n suck for the track heh. I got beat by a stang that ran 12.2 @ 110mph on slicks. I need at least to get some drag radials so i can really punch it off the line.! i had fun though, now i just have to figure out how the hell i'm gonna get 352rwhp to stick.

HEHE. I KNEW you were going to have problems with traction. Why didn't you call, mang?

Was it at Speedworld?

Looking at your traps, you can probably squeeze a 12.0 out of that thing with slicks. How's it feel to be almost as fast as a Z06 through the 1/4?

Re: So i went to the track :)

well i didn't find out i was going until last night so it was kind of a surprise to me too. Yeah it was at speedworld. Yup there was a guy who trapped the same mph as me and ran a 12.1. another mustang, he had slicks.

A day at the track makes all the hardwork you've put into your car seem worthwhile.

Yeah, throw some slicks on that thing and you'll run about a half second quicker. It'll definately help you out. Great job at your first? track run.

Nice mph You definitely need some slicks! I don't even try to run on street tires anymore, it's not worth it. Last time I ran on street tires it was a 14.0@110, had to let off of it three times LOL

Very nice runs, the first time at the track is always a good learning experience, and your times did show improvement. Keep it up.
