Re: SoCal Hobby Stores

You're in Fullerton? I used to go to school there.

Anyway, Legends was great, but somewhat pricey. Get them on the phone before you try and go visit them, because they've moved, and I don't know to where.

Others to seek out:

Ultimate Hobbies in Orange
Best 1 Hobby in Diamond Bar & San Gabriel
Pegasus in Montclair

Also good and in So Cal, (maybe some a little farther away from you) are:
Prestige Hobbies in Hobby City, Anaheim (lots of kits, and die cast).

Gyro Hobbies, Lake Forest (still lots of R/C, but good deals on static kits, and a large selection).

Model Car Masterpieces in Costa Mesa (especially if you like resin and 1/43rd, also has Tamiya and other quality traditional type kits).

The Hobby People in Fountain Valley (isn't bad, lots of kits to choose from, but the staff either don't know or doesn't care about plastic kits much).

Re: SoCal Hobby Stores

Hobby People also have a store on Katella in Anaheim/Orange. It's near Ultimate Hobbies, IIRC.

If you're on the other side of Fullerton, there's also a Hobby People on Beach Blvd. in Brea.

They have discount plastic kits (couple bucks below list), some paint, little to no employees that care about either. 98% of their business must be RC planes and cars.

Re: SoCal Hobby Stores

thanks for the listings I've been to prestige hobbies (wide selection) and hobby peoples at Beach Blvd. (they're into RCs). I will try out the other stores as well.

What school did you go to Jay. I graduated from Sunny Hills 04
