How can I tell what engine

I got a talon tsi and the motor was swaped and I was wondering how I can tell which motor is in it. I know tha when I switched the head gasket that it had all equal length head bolts. I went to get new ones and the were different. The new bolts were staggered. Is it possible that I have a 6bolt?

you could try posting a pic of the engine, or at least giving some detail of what it looks like or performs like.

I know that it is a 4g63 engine and that everything looks like a 2nd gen 7 bolt but the head bolts
