Question WTF is wrong with my clutch?

I got an ACT extreme pressure plate w/ street disc and streetlite 12.5 Ibs flywheel. Installed it with a buddy roughly a month ago. We seemed to do everything right since my friend has put in a ton of clutches before. When I'm punching it and hit 6100-6200 rpm the clutch will just slip. It happens in every gear, and every time at about the same rpm. I'm kinda pissed because I just lost a race because I couldn't use my big power rpms. Can anyone help me?

Re: WTF is wrong with my clutch?

the higher grade performance clutch you get, the longer they take to break in, w/ the clutch disk you had, it could take up to a year to get fully broken in......if not then take it out and check the whole clutch system and see if there is any problems in that area

I drove the car for 800 miles before even revving over 3500 rpms to break in the clutch. And it has close to 3000 miles on it now. So I don't think that's the problem. I'm stumped.

Update: I found out that I can rev the car past the 6100 mark once or twice. But after that it will start slipping. Don't know if this information helps locate the problem. I'll probably be ripping apart the tranny one of these weekends, but just in case someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks.
