Question Old Denali headrests Question

I am talking about the ones that were like curled on the sides thinner in the middle. Were they more comfortable? I was parked next to Denali and it had them. I think they changed the Headrest in 03 if I am not mistaken.

Re: Old Denali headrests Question

They did make the change in '03 - the old ones were curved and I believe had the Denali "logo" - the word with a Mt. McKinley graphic - in the center.

They were definitely distinct - I can't speak to comfort but I do prefer the more understated current ones.

Take care,
Jerry

Re: Old Denali headrests Question

Also, if one were to decide on getting headrest video monitors...I believe (and I could be wrong here, as I didn't do any detailed research on this) all the pre-fab ones use the current-style (e.g., not winged-style) headrests, so unless you replace all 6 of them, the ones with the monitors will look out of place with the winged ones that weren't replaced. Of course, one can always just custom-install a monitor into an existing headrest...
