is this normal?

one of my friend just bought a 1994 RX7 twin turbo...the car is stock,but it suck gas like crazy...from point A to B cost him HALF tank..from A to B only 30 minutes..and from B back to A,the tank is empty..this is scary man...that is too much...is this normal for twin turbo cars? or his car have problem with fuel system?

one more thing..hes not a racer...just normal driving from point A to B,and from B back to A the tank is empty

so what do you reckon? is there a problem with his car? or all twin turbo cars are like this? coz im getting my baby 300ZX twin turbo soon..but he SHOCK me when he told me this

just take a look at the mpg stats, see if he did the same distance, maybe his car has a problem.
twinturbo cars arnt all the same.

Is it possible that faulty APEX seals could affect the gas mileage?

It would be severely out of tune. Check the O2 sensors and plugs lately? What about ALL the filters? What kind of distances are we talking about here?

replace the o2 sensor..... I had the same thing happen years ago to my rx7... easy fix....
