T-stat
I have 96 LS 3100. It needs a thermostat. What other parts am I going to need besides the actual thermostat to do the job? I know I'm going to have to remove a bunch of crap to get at it. Thanks

Re: T-stat
You will need a rubber seal, but that should come with the thermostat, that's it.

Re: T-stat
anything you need to remove is reuseable, such as the air intake tube, so the t-stat is all you need (it comes with the rubber seal). Don't forget coolant and a Haynes manual for the proper cooling system bleed proceedure. Check the upper hose while you have the cooling system open, and replace it if it's even questionable. Cheap insurance against a possible failure.
