Question 1995 tsi Talon

My service engine light came on and I went and got it checked, and the EGR valve is bad. Where is that located and can I replace it myself.

its the thing on the end of the wire that goes between the intake and the head (non turbo)

here is a good breakdown of the non turbo engine egr valve is number 16 on the picture
