i know that it has to do with cars
.... but..... i thought it would be found easier herethere is a local mechanic who right now has a ..... not really sure but my guess is, 1984 Lotus Esprit Turbo. I asked him about the car today, for sale? for fixing? ..... ect. He said that the rear end was out, and it would probably be eventually sold, but, (this is kinda funny, yet still disturbing and angering) since it was a Lotus it was a peice of shit. He didn't know anyone who was willing to work on it, let alone look at it. My question for you people is - HOW MUCH IS A circa 1984 Esprit turbo worth!?!?!? we have a '63 Super 7, so it won't be hard to fix anything wrong (i know lotus people) and i really like this car, i just don't really know to much on value of this timeframe. Any help would be great!!!

Damn tricky one.
My best advice is to go here www.lotus.co.nz and ask Ken. He should be able to help. Just remember to tell him where in the world you are. They sell here in good condition for NZ$30-40,000 But thats barly US$10-12,000. They are not that hard to repiar if your good at fiberglass work, and have some mechancial skill, as well as know people who know the cars. Theres a guy in the club whos about to finnish rebuilding his exprit after a fire destroyed most of it. Hes done it all in his garage. (try doing that with a Ferrari)
