My 1999 Aurora shuts down at 110-112mph I've heard a few things that would get rid of it but they seem to only be made for the 95-96. Even the Jet Super Chip is for the 95 not much out there for the 99. Would this ODBII do the trick or not it do'nt really say.

Re: How to get rid of this SpeedLimiter
so where do you have the sane opportunity to cruise over 112?

Aurora99....You have to have the computer reprogrammed by the dealer
to get rid of the speed limiting. Some dealers will do it, some won't. You have to ask around. ___________________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!

Re: How to get rid of this SpeedLimiter
Wow....glad I read these. Had my Aurora up to 110 and it quit dead. thought I blew the engine or something. Came back just fine. This is the only car I've ever felt safe driving at 100 mph in.

Yeah, mine shut off at 140, not that I need to worry about it, the nitrous Honda was blown at 120. Several aftermarket reprogrammers are available.
