Were snap-on tonneau covers a Silv option?
I have a 2000 Silvy (Z71 Ext. Cab, SPORTSIDE, 4WD).
I bought it used, with a snap-on vinyl tonneau cover kit. I need to replace the vinyl cover, but I have no idea who the manufacturer was. Could it be this was original from Chevy? And if so, any idea who the manufacturer might have been (to get a replacement cover)? Thanks |

No as far as I know any kind of cover would be an aftermarket part.

My advice: Throw away the snap on and invest in a fiberglass toneau.

Re: Were snap-on tonneau covers a Silv option?
I have a fiberglass cover, but I find it a bit restricting, can't put in something big in the bed or high. Although they look the best....
If I was going to get one again I think I'd get one of those ones that extends out from the cab. They are still some what solid. They look desent and aren't as resticting as the hard covers. |
