Post '85 T-Bird!

'85 T-bird with a couple things I'd like to fix efficiently.... One, the dashboard display, which is one of those totally digital, green liquid quartz displays does not want to light up. I literally can BARELY see how fast I am going.

Two, I have a ticking caliper on the front left tire. Suggest model of caliper wanted and advice on applying?

Detailed instruction on how to fix the display would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Remove the dash trim and pull instrument cluster out. In the back are several knobs which can be turned counter-clockwise to remove. Inside are tiny bulbs that can be gotten from the nearest Ford dealership.

The brand caliper you would need is Wagner. As far as putting it on, the easiest thing to do is to buy a Chilton's manual for your car.

Hope this helps and isn't too late!
