honorable death...

well my brother came home for the weekend and i took his car out on the town for a little fun... after goin to get some gas at the local chevron i decided to go cruise for a bit. anyhow as im driving down pacific i see a newer camero pull out of a parking lot on the street, i pass him and turn onto march lane, big three lane road long and only a couple lights. so guy in the camero decides to follow me and he gets up along side and i down shift into second and take off, he does the same and flys by for a second, as he's slowing down he flashed his hazards real quick to show me he was serious. so i get up along side him and he gives me a "whats up" look and i said lets go and he nodded. so again i down shift into second at about 30 or so and take it up to about the redline and shift into third, he takes off at the same time and cathces up real quick, i had him up until about mid way through 3rd gear. and then he just flys away and i cant do anything about it. so we both shut down and pull up to the light that had just turned red... so again i look over and we each had a big grin and i yelled "agian!" and he nodded. so i started to rev and at about 2500 the light changed and i took off. he spun about halfway through 1st and then grabbed, my launch was ok. grabbed pretty hard and smashed into second, right up until 3rd gear(which is when this damn car falls on its face) i had him by about a car or so, i hit third and he just flew away up until about 80 or 90 and after that he turned off the road and i went home

am i wrong to assume you still drive a 1994 ford ranger? coz thats what i got when i looked up your profile. and you say you were able to hang with the camaro till 3rd gear?? unless its a v6 i don't see how thats possible. correct me if i'm wrong though, oh and is it still the ford ranger or have you got another car. sorry but you really haven't given much info on this race.

Re: honorable death...

I agree the truck would beat an 83 325. Unless it is a 4cyl truck, but wtf is the point of a 4cyl truck!

Re: honorable death...

bah... the eta engine in that e30 is damn weak-ass!!! That bmw runs a low 17's in the 1/4. The reason it is ok through 1st and second is because it has so much torque. But it redlines at 4500
