I just joined the forum today ...

I live in Australia (since 1991) with my family. Miss some of the great cars etc stateside - but there are compensating factors here - great wines and food - and a variety of cars I don't think are found in USA.

I joined because I have just bought a loaded 1989 camry for one of my children - the car will no doubt need some help as it ages - kids, of course, ALWAYS need help (even if they don't like to admit it!

I have some DIY car knowledge, but not much ('70's Volvos, '80's mercedes, mostly). But probably like many people, I joined the forum because I think I will be looking for help - but am happy to help others if I can!
