Re: Best ECU?

if you have a 2g get a 95 "eprom" ecu so that you can use dsmlink.

Is DMSlink hard to use, or does it have a steep learning curve? Or is it easy and simple to use?

Re: Best ECU?

i dont have it but i think its the kind of thing thats a real pain in the ass for awhile then becomes second nature and is the coolest thing ever. the upside is that theres plenty of tuning guides and experienced people to ask when you get stuck

So if you have DSMlink, what all does it do....like is it an ALL-IN-ONE type thing. Does it eliminate the need for a Boost Controller, Turbo timer ,blah blah...or what?

Re: Best ECU?

do a search or check out there website. aqs i understand it it doesnt have a boost controller or turbo timer in it. it basicly is to change your fuel maps for the af ratio at different throttle % and rpms. i think you can use it to change everything that your ecu controls

Re: Best ECU?

www.dsmlink.com
if you decide to buy it, you will gain acess to the dsmlink community forums. you can email they guys at dsmlink and ask them to let you have a temp login so you can browse the fourms to see what it is.

dsmlink it a non-piggyback fully programable ecu controller that gives your full control of your Computers air/fuel, and much more. the website will show you what it does, it only drawback is the need for a palm or laptop to make ajustments, log, view ecu information.

Re: Best ECU?

DSMlink is still based on the stock ECU, so if you know nothing about it, you can just leave all the settings "stock." You can get into it gradually, not like a standalone where its all or nothing, and it takes 2 weeks just to get it to idle
