95 cavalier

hey guys, Im a brand new user of this service and i have a few questions, I own a 1995 chev cavalier and like yous were saying there was a major problem with cavaliers and i got that problem at 80 000 miles or 140 000 kms. Now im wondering if I blew my head gasket already, is it worth getting fixed. I got a buddy i know who is fixing it as we speak. Is the bottom end going to go?
Thanks
Andre

Well the price isnt bad at all. I went to a garage and they quoted me at 1200$ and this guys is doing the labor for 150$. The problem is im fed up sinking money in this car and i want to know if it is common to blow the bottom-end in it anytime soon.Everything is new now, but will it last?

Re: 95 cavalier

I had this happen to my car too. I fixed it myself, but it happened again. So i dont know its your call. If you have someone else do it though they will prob do it the right way the first time. I just figured i would give it a shot myself since i did not have the money to send it in.
