What fits?!

I have a line on an 88 XJ 4.0,4x4. Engine runs well, body is in good shape
I have a 00" XJ 4.0 4x4. What parts off of the 88 will fit onto mine. Mainly thinking about the axles and maybe T-case. I have front diff problems in my 00 XJ, thought maybe of swapping out the axles? Will this work?

Re: What fits?!

Hey there GT,

I read an article last night discussing the difference between the Dana 35 and Dana 44. It seems to me the guy said the D44 was in the earlier XJ's and was a direct swap out. Supposedly a much tougher rear end... I don't know about the front. I'll try to find that article and get it to you.
