Possible or not??????
In the event that I have to replace the fuel tank pressure sensor on my 99 Silverado I was considering unbolting the bed and jacking it up 6" or so to get the required access to the top of the float assembly. How much trouble should I expect and what if any items besides the bed attachment bolts will I have to let go?
Thanks for any help. |

Re: Possible or not??????
I have heard of people doin this before. They said all u have to do is unbolt the bed and just slide it back till you have the room. Im sure their will be some sort of electrical wires that might be a problem. someone here should know. But im sure it will be alot easier that droping the tank.

Re: Possible or not??????
I think you would save a lot of time by dropping the tank. I have did it and it wasnt that bad of a job.
Just my opinion. |
