Lightbulb CHECK ENGINE AND ETS OFF came on

Hi guys,

CHECK ENGINE AND ETS OFF of my 97 4cyl skylark came on at the same time, but it runs good. I went to Autozone to get the error code:

P0342 the voltage signal from camshaft position sensor "A" is two low for the current engine operating conditions.

P0440 a malfunction exists in the evaporative emission controsystem.

Are these two errors associated with each other? What should I do next?
Thank you very much!

Re: CHECK ENGINE AND ETS OFF came on

not related. P0440 MAY be a loose gas cap, for P0342, i would test it with an osilioscope(not a everyday tool). do you know if these were current or history codes? i would have autozone clear the codes and see if they come back, it may have been a freaky one-time thing,
