questions on tech

ok just got a tech from a friend of a friend and its a faze 1000 rpm it has the little yellow light on it and two other buttons on the front for the shift set . i know it comes from like atozone and pepboys but hey it was free .

my problem and question is it only has 2 1/2 in wire coming out the bake .i got it with out any wireing thers two black wires a red wire and a green wire am i mising any thing and what do i need to hook it up to my 99 mirage 1.5 de 2 door mirage ato
