Discovery Brake Pads

I have a 2003 LR Disco with 15000 miles. Was in for regular service and the LR tech told me I needed new brake pads and probably work on the rotors.

Has anyone had similar problems with their discos?

Thx

Yeah, I got the same advice from a tech, when he failed me for my state inspection. I went to a tire shop and they passed me just fine. I haven't popped the wheels to see yet but to change the pads and rotors at 22k seems soon to me. I let you know how I make out. I'd like to know the specs for rotor thickness.

Brakes

I'd be interested to see what you find out. The serv. dept @ the dealer told me that LR makes the rotor more narrow than do US manufacturers and that is why the rotors need to be changed so frequently. Has anyonoe had them machined?
