89' 3.3 V6 Starter!!!!!!

I am new to this forum and would appreciate I the help I can get. I have an 89 century custom 3.3 V6. The starter was starting to go bad on me in Vegas last weekend, so I tested everything and concluded the starter is bad. So I raise the front wheels and find that the two bolts holding on the starter have to be lossened from underneath. So I got the one towards the front loose but i cannot get the one in the back loose without removing the oil pan, So I began doing that and cant get one bolt out which is under the crankcase pulley.

Anyone ever changed a starter like this if so any tips or tricks?

Thank You,

Greg
