I wanna keep my new Tib nice inside too

I know this sounds like a stupid question; but what stuff do you recommend to keep the inside looking good and not harmful to the interior dash, etc.

I find Armour and so forth like greasy kid stuff and wonder if it is safe to use Windex products?

Does anyone know what the best stuff is to keep a car's cockpit nice and clean?

You may want to ask/look in the Car Interior section. There are quite a few experts in there.

A friend of mine runs an autobody shop and windex can really dry out your dash!

I use meguiars all purpose cleaning clothes to wipe everything down with thats vinyl/plastic. Then Meguiars makes this dash foam that you put on and its a protectant that dries, but stays glossy and prevents UV rays from ruing your dash. B./c also windex strips your vinyl/plastic.

And then if you have leather seats, I also use meguiars leather cleaner/conditioner. Works great. And windex is used on the windows.

If you have cloth seats you can just shampoo them with your shampooers attachment for furniture if you have one. Or the best spray on cleaner is Blue Corral. My old car had cloth seats and my dog puked in my car, stuff was spilled, etc and Blue Corral always got everything out.

I'm a huge Meguiars fan, won't use anything but that.

oh ya I forgot. What REALLY helps to remove odors is Natures Miracle. You can get it at any pet store, like petco, petsmart, and local pet stores. Its a natural enzyme that breaks up other enzymes and such, neutralizing and getting rid of the bacteria and enzymes that are causing odor. You just gotta make sure you soak it through as far down as the stain is. and it can take up to 2 weeks to fully neutralize and remove it. It doesn't bleach or anything materials either. But always test a spot first just in case.

This stuff really is a miracle at getting odors out. It even works on cat pee. I don't have cats but a friend of mine had a problem with her cat pissing in one spot and natures miracle got rid of the problem and you can't smell anything now.

So I use it in my car too if i have to and my car still looks brand new to this day.

Thanks, I got 2 cats and a dogster and use Simple Solution quite a bit. Gonzo seems to be doing a decent enough job for now.
