New addition...Merc C111 (+ Avus) 56K aware

Just found this nice little model of the Mercedes Benz C111. Don't think I'll be modding it as it's rther nice as it is I think.

More shots of the Audi! That Merc is pretty funky, a litte odd for my tastes though.

Thanks, Yep, they are both 1/18, Thats pretty much all I collect these days.

I found it in a sort of bric-a-brac shop that buys a lot of shop clearances here in the UK and it was a bargain at £5 ($8-10)

I'm getting into collecting more quirky sort of models and moving away from the mainstream stuff.

I'll get pics of the Avus tonight as being chrome, the light conditions aren't right at the mo.

As for the Lambi, out of the two I like both but would probably buy the black one as I am not keen on the black bib spoiler against the red. If it were red I'd get the red one.

I bought a Yellow one myself but love the orange and green coloured ones as well. So typical of the era:

btw- I read somewhere that Nicholas Cage paid a cool 1/2 a mil for the Miura Jota SVR from a Iran gov. auction off the automobiles collection belonging to the prince of Iran. Now, that dude got some connections.
