tested injecters

i tested my fuel injectors today with an ohm meter and here is what i got:

#1 cylinder: 11.8 ohms
#2 cylinder: 19.7 ohms
#3 cylinder: 11.8 ohms
#4 cylinder: 11.9 ohms
#5 cylidner: 11.7 ohms
#6 cylinder: 11.4 ohms

the only one that is off is #2, but is it enough off to cause any problems? thanks.

The resistance should be about 10-14 ohms, try cleaning the contacts and checking the wires on the one that is high. If you haven't noticed any problems so far then its probably safe to assume its not going to be a major issue. I don't really have a number for you as far as when you should replace. What it means is with the higher resistance that cylinder will be running slightly lean compared to the others but its not going to make a huge difference. If you've noticed it running rough, especially at idle, or putting out a bit of smoke from that side then I would look into the matter further.

Re: tested injecters

I thought the Nissan Mechanics book said 12-14? Meh... Prolly' wrong.

Yea just re-check it, I doubt its going to be a severe problem... But if you start noticing problems with rough idle... You know where to look.

Injectors arent exactly EASY to replace either, so just hope nothing happens.
