91 civic hatchback

Ok i have an opportunity to buy a stock 91 civic hatchback with a 5 speed stock tranny... for 2 grand... anyone that knows any simple ways to boost hp and torque im all ears! also, anyone that has any advice on whether i should even get it plz post

condition, mileage... are all factors of it bein worth 2gs
swap the motor is probally the best way to increase power but not always the cheapest

i have a max of 4500 to spend on this car and i forgot to mention that it has a bad ass sound system already

Ok the sound system goes like this: 3 MTX 12" subs, 2 6x9s and 2 amps- i dont know what brand as for what else it has done to it... its got nothing... completely stock lol
