Speeding
I got a ticket for speeding and something else, but the officer didn’t tell me how fast I was going, or wrote it down on the ticket. He just put “Speed for situation” and I was wondering what that means. I’m hoping that it means he didn’t get me on the radar so he can’t prove that I was speeding and I might be able to get that taken off.

Re: Speeding
that is probably what it means, but if you were going fast enough for him to know you were speeding, they'll probably still fine you.
what was the situation when he busted you? traffic, weather, stuff like that. |

I was at the races down in an industrial area of Oakland. It was like 2-2:30am with nobody else on the street except for all the other people trying to get away when the cops came. I wasn’t going any faster than anybody else was, I think the cop just picked me out because I was in the far left lane and he came out of nowhere off a side street on the left just as I passed him.
I don’t know what the speed limit is, or how fast I was going, but I doubt it was anything far above 50mph. |

Re: Speeding
if you were running from cops busting up the street races, don't expect any mercy. i'd personally just pay the fine and let it go, cuz if you challenge it, they'll probably charge you with something else because of the situation.
