99 SL2 High idle at start

I was just wondering if it is normal for my car to idle high when Ifirst start it? And, the dash vibrates real bad???

well if its cold outside...then yes...its because the engine is trying to warm up...about the dash...i dont think so...

year? how long does it idle high? average temp reading? ever replace the ECT?
