Rocker Cover Gaskets
Are these the same as valve cover gaskets?
I need to replace these on my 90' supra non-turbo, i have enough knowledge to do it but need a little advice on removeing the throttle housing from the top of the engine. Will i need to drain the oil off to do this job? Oh and the reason i'm doing it is because of oil in the spark plug valley, Am i on the right track?? Any advice would be helpful! |

Re: Rocker Cover Gaskets
Very easy to replace, take off the intake pipe, throttle body, and TB brackets and throttle cable bracket, the PCV pipe, undo the plug wires. Then unscrew the valve covers and clean the surfaces good, replace the gasket and reverse the above. Just don't over torque the phillips screws, hand tightened will be sufficient.
