Alty Gas Mileage
Hi Guys!!
I have a question.What is the normal gas mileage alty owners get.I have a 93 Nissan Altima,AT but its mileage sucks.I hardly manage to get 15 miles/gallon. I am going to a mechanic and ask him to look at it but before that is there anything i can change/replace..Suggestions?? Thanks Guys..I am a newbie and this forum rocks... Thanks ramaks

I don't know about your car, but I just had the carburetor adjusted and was told that I would now get much better gas mileage (as it was "injecting" 4 times more fuel than is legally allowed in order to pass CA smog check regulations...)
So ask your mechanic about that...

Hey Thanks Bam Bam.There was a problem in the spark plugs.You were right too.My mechanic told me that somehow more fuel than was necessary was being injected.He fixed that and now the car is OK

Hey This Is B Dizzal, And I Just Checked Out Your Problem. You Mentioned That Your Altima Was Injecting More Gas Than Neccessary, And That Your Mechanic Made An Adjustment And Now The Problem Is Fine. What Exactly Did He Do? Because My 96 Gxe Is Getting Like 15 Miles To The Gallon Right Now And Gas Is Like 3 Freakin Bucks. Please Respond . Thanks
