Re: Motor Swap Question

im putting an 89 mx6 turbo engine in my 91 b2200 right now, i just got the engine and hopefully ill have it ready to drive in april, its pretty simple, they are almost identicle engines, except for the intake manifold, exhaust manifold and the compresion, the only thing is the intake will face your firewall, and you'll need to make a bracket for the throttle, childsplay

I love to find a list of motors that would fit into the 86 B2000 we need a new one ASAP. right not the electical is died and we can't get spark for the plugs to turn the motor over .. all was well and then some rodent chewed up some of the spark plug wires and my drove it that day to work and to home and it died on the way home. can't fine anything else wrong just no spark batt good (need a jump dur to trying to get it to start) changed CAP& Roter and new SP wire set .. looking at new coil next and plug.. but Main reason to get new engin is that with have oil leaks and they getting worse.

any help on motors woould be good.. I'm in Sacramento CA area

Thanks CC
