4 barrel throttle body or should i just keep my 2 barrel
yeah well thanks for the answers on my tranni .... came to find out my dad sayd it was my clutch bands or my fluid or the filter ... cuz when i let go in 3rd gear it shifts ... iuno ima take it in the shop .. any way about my throttle body .. should i buy a 4 barrel for my v6 or just keep my 2 barell and just put a spacer in between it .... Any suggestions?

go with the 4 bbl for performance. you will be sacraficing fuel economy if you care. spacer wont do much.

Hold on, we are talking about fuel injection here.
Why is 2 barrel or 4 barrel coming up for? |

he must have a tbi system. they sell 4 barrel throttle body sytems with 4 injectors under each butterfly. gas guzzlers, but a lot more performance.

the '2 bbl' tbi unit on the 4.3 will pass all the air/fuel that motor will ever need regardless of mods. It is capable of supplying a 350 with mild mods, so it will handle a 4.3 with extreme mods.

I had no idea there was a direct replacement 4 barrel throtle body for a 4.3? I know if you buy a barrel manifold from GM or Edelbrock then bought a holley commander 950 efi it would work but be WAY overkill for a stock 4.3.
I'd say just uprade to holley's 4.3 throtle body and a spacer you'd be pleased. |
